Q: How can it be stick on the dashboard without move? Is it easy to remove it from the dashboard?
A: The unit has a suction cup with a material that is very sticky that seals so well that the bond is very strong. My dashboard has a typical hard plastic surface that is not absolutely smooth; the texture is a pebbly faux leather with very small, rounded bumps. Also, the dash is slightly curved where my unit is mounted. Nevertheless, the iOttie has stayed in place since I mounted it two months ago. With respect to your question about removal, yes, it was easy for me to remove it from the dashboard when I repositioned it during initial mounting. I cannot speak to how easy it would be if I removed it now, but have no reason to believe it would be different. Removal was not a matter of releasing the lever on the suction cup ... that was step 1. I used the tip of a plastic knife to gently lift the edge of the suction cup up enough to allow air into the center, then peeled the unit off. It left a little sticky residue--very slight--that wiped off with a damp cloth. The iOttie remounted easily immediately thereafter and has stayed put ever since.
